How does the Wild Roots Landowner Program work this year?
An order of a Miracle Tube Tree Protector package will reserve 25 tubes for pickup at your local conservation district’s Spring 2024 Seedling Sale and will get you a $50 voucher that can be used toward native seedlings at that Seedling Sale.
You reserve the Miracle Tube Tree Protectors this fall/winter (hurry, supplies are limited) and use your voucher in late winter/early-spring (February-March) to reserve any native tree or shrub species available through your local conservation district’s 2024 spring seedling sale. NOTE: Stakes are not included with the tree tubes and the $50 voucher will correspond to the specific conservation district’s 2024 spring seedling sale that you selected when purchasing the Miracle Tube Tree Protectors.
How do I get my voucher?
The voucher will be in the form of your confirmation email. The 4-digit confirmation code will serve as your voucher number. For orders with multiple packages, the confirmation code/voucher number will be worth $50 multiplied by the number of packages ordered.
How do I know when to use my voucher?
Just prior to the date the conservation districts start taking orders for their 2024 Spring Seedling Sale, we’ll send you a reminder to use your voucher. Remember that the $50 voucher is ONLY good for the purchase of native trees and shrubs from the conservation district’s 2024 Spring Seedling Sale.
Miracle Tube orders will be picked up at the respective conservation district pickup location during their normal Spring Seedling Sale pickup event where you will also pick up the native tree and shrub seedlings that you reserved with your voucher.
When and where will I pick up my tree tubes and native seedlings?
You can pick up your tree tubes and native seedlings at the specific conservation district’s 2024 Spring Seedling sale that you ordered from. Pick-up locations, dates, and times are listed in each conservation district’s “Description” section in the Shop listing. Some pick-up locations, dates, and times have yet to be finalized. However, the reminder email this spring will include the final information.
What’s included in my order?
-25 of the 60 in. Miracle Tube Tree Protectors (5 tube diameters range from 3.5”-4.75”)
-2 reusable zip ties and bird netting for each tube
-$50 worth of native seedlings at your select conservation district’s spring seedling sale
-Packages do not include stakes. Hardwood stakes are recommended
