River Care
CRA’s staple program allows us to complete projects from stem to stern across our 15-county service region.
First identified at the local level, River Care projects make their way to our Workplan and are managed by our veteran project management team. River Care fills project funding gaps and leverages federal dollars to complete critical work in each watershed we care for.
By systematically addressing the worst issues first, our goal is to restore full connectivity from stem to stern. Through River Care, CRA and its partners improve water quality and foster the resiliency of 16 watersheds across Michigan’s northwestern Lower Peninsula.
