Finance Manager

Position Summary: 

The Finance Manager at Conservation Resource Alliance (CRA) plays a key role in ensuring the organization’s financial strength and long-term sustainability. Reporting to the Executive Director, this full-time position leads CRA’s day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and related operational systems that support our mission.

This role is well-suited for an experienced financial professional who values mission-driven work and enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on nonprofit environment. The Finance Manager works closely with program staff to manage grant funding, maintain strong financial systems and audit-ready records, and ensure responsible stewardship of public and private resources. The position also leads organizational budgeting, supports financial planning and decision-making, and helps maintain the internal controls and operational systems necessary for CRA’s continued success.

The position is based out of CRA’s office in Traverse City, Michigan, with a flexible Monday through Friday work schedule. The salary range is $75,000–$85,000, commensurate with skills and experience, and includes a competitive benefits package.
