The Conservation Resource Alliance invites you to attend our
many events, a fun way to see RiverCare in action.
CRA and local river restoration committees have been busy over
the past year repairing erosion sites, restoring habitat and
improving recreational access. See completed work, as well
as priority problem areas scheduled for future work. Participants
are responsible for bringing along sun protection, water-friendly
footwear and foul-weather gear (activities are rain or shine).
Boats, paddles and life jackets are provided for float trips.

What: The Michigan Council Trout Unlimited Fly Fishing School is one of the country's finest. The school has been in existence for 40 years. The school seeks to improve the skill of fly fishers from beginner to expert. The 3-day school is held once a year in early June, on the Boardman River approx. 12 miles from Traverse City, Michigan.
Beginners are instructed in the basics of fly casting and fly fishing and are introduced to a wide variety of angling interests. Experienced fly fishers will improve their skills, technique and knowledge of the sport.
The 2010 school will be 11, 12, & 13 June 2010. Information on cost, lodging options, etc go to: http://tuffs.org/.
